Amber Weather Warnings

🌦️ Yellow Weather Warning 🌦️

When the Met Office issues a yellow weather warning, we slow down. We check the forecast. We adjust our plans. We move more gently through our day.

Our bodies and minds issue warnings too.

That persistent tiredness. The tightness in your chest. The feeling of being overwhelmed. These are your personal yellow warnings - signals asking you to pause, to tend to yourself, to adjust your approach.

Just as we wouldn't ignore weather warnings and push through a storm unprepared, we shouldn't ignore what our mental health is trying to tell us.

It's okay to ask for help. It's okay to practice self-care. It's okay to admit you need support.

Sometimes the kindest thing we can do is move gently. To slow down. To seek shelter and support when we need it.

If you're experiencing your own yellow warning signs, counselling can offer a safe space to pause, process, and find your way forward with care.

Take care out there - in the weather and in yourself. 💛
